The Regional Head – Procurement & Bid Submission is crucial in leading the procurement operations across an assigned region. This position focuses on crafting and overseeing competitive bid submissions that align with organizational goals. Reporting directly to the Director or VP of Operations/Supply Chain, your role will encompass cost efficiency, vendor optimization, compliance, and exceptional bid execution.
Develop and implement regional procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Manage sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract finalization.
Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and ethical practices.
Lead the end-to-end bid management process including pre-qualification, RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, finance, legal, operations) for bid inputs.
Review bid documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness.
Develop pricing strategies in collaboration with finance and leadership teams.
Ensure timely submission of bids with full compliance to client requirements.
Analyze bid outcomes and implement continuous improvement measures.
Lead, mentor, and develop procurement and bid management teams across the region.
Set performance targets and monitor team productivity.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement and bidding strategies.
Engage with clients, vendors, and partners during pre-bid and post-bid stages.
Represent the company in negotiations and key commercial discussions.
Identify procurement and bid-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
12–18 years of experience in procurement and bid management.
