3T Worldwide India Private Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive Procurement Officer to manage our International Procurement activities for the Oil and Gas industry. The ideal candidate will ensure all purchased items meet the highest quality standards while being cost-efficient. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing a variety of equipment and machinery globally, fostering strong relationships with suppliers, and ensuring all procurement processes align with company standards.
Understand and analyze the purchase requirements of customers and end-users.
Source and procure necessary materials globally to meet techno-commercial needs.
Evaluate basic technical specifications and commercial offers.
Participate in vendor evaluations based on set criteria.
Maintain and update comprehensive supplier information including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers.
Research, evaluate, and establish strong relations with prospective suppliers.
Bachelor's degree, with a preference for candidates with an Engineering or MBA background.
0 to 3 years of experience in procurement or related fields.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially with OEMs and suppliers from America and Europe.
Strong logical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Speed and efficiency in using computers and search engines.
Knowledge and experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
Experience in international procurement and understanding of global supply chains.
